I've had a couple of "earth" powders over the last couple of decades, but never bought the brown b/c my skin is so fair and it just looks dirty on me. When I saw this tiny size, however, I couldn't resist--it's just too cute! The only thing that disappointed me was that it came with a cheap blush brush instead of the small puff. This is what the product is: a tiny clay pot with a cork that contains a very small amount of brown, loose powder makeup. The main thing I use it for is eyeshadow, since brown pretty much looks good on anyone's eyes. Staying power isn't the greatest, so you might want to use a primer or something else to increase that. Back when this was a new product (in the 80s), cosmetic department salespeople recommended working some of the powder into a puff to apply to your face & body as a bronzer. So I got a small puff (not the flat kind), and applied a little to my forehead and cheeks that way. I only puffed on a very small amount since I'm so pale, but it actually gave me a slight sun-kissed look! This is not a miracle, all-purpose product, but it is fun to experiment with and when the Indian Earth is gone, you've still got the little jar to put some other kind of loose powder makeup in!Indian Earth The Original Multi-Purpose Make-Up Powder 5g ( Powder in Jar + Applicator )Indian Earth The Original Multi-Purpose Make-Up Powder Papoose Collection 2g ( Powder in Jar + Applicator )Indian Earth Cosmetics Powder Jar Original w/Free Applicator Puff Get more detail about Indian Earth The Original Multi-Purpose Make-Up Powder Papoose Collection 2g ( Powder in Jar + Applicator ).
