I have been using several brands of mineral make-ups both loose and compact for years. I was tired of the mess they make and frankly the lack of coverage and the fact that they don't stay on all day. I like a light to medium coverage and I bought this to see how it would work on my normal to oily skin. I have a small hypo-pigmented spot above my lip (lighter) and always had to use other heavier concealers to cover the spot on top of the mineral make-up. This foundation is awesome.....the coverage is perfect and I put it on so it is light to medium because you can control it w/ the sponge......if you want a heavier coverage put on another light coat. It makes your skin look flawless, the colors match great and it stays on all day but you can't feel it...it even covered the lighter spot without extra concealer.
