I love this product but found myself out of it recently and decided to try L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Face Perfecting Base. Although it goes on super velvet and starts out doing the exact same thing as MagiX I found that it did not banish the shine for more than 2 hours after I applied it. I generally wear the product alone without foundation or powder simply because I like the more natural look. MagiX banishes shine and even though I'm African American the SPF included is a PLUS.
