Order Stila Convertible Color For Lips And Cheeks, Poppy .15 oz (4.25 g)

Currently, I own this in Peony and in Orchid and have found the texture to be very easily applied using my Sonia Kashuk stippling brush (also known as a "skunk" brush). I have used my fingers to apply this product, but I just find using the brush is easier for me and I get more even application. In terms of my lips, I have used this on my lips, but have found it necessary to apply over lip balm (I use Rosebud salve, which I love) because it tends to dry out my lips, hence the 4-star rating I have this product.

Though the product can dry out my lips, it does give my cheeks much needed moisture for the cold Winter months. However, I found that during humid days in the Summer, this product can leave my skin a bit oily, but I have yet to break out from it. I found that a light dusting of sheer powder helps control oil during periods of high humidity.

As others have mentioned, its packaging is super cute and very portable. I have tossed this into my purse and the compact has held up well to the abuse it experiences in my bag. Its mirror is great, very bright and clear...not a cheap mirror prone to breaking.

I am not sure if I selected the best colors for my skin tone, as I have fair skin on the cool side. The peony color looks a bit too muted on me and orchid can be too intense. Orchid does not look bad on me, but I have to use a very light hand and blend very well, otherwise I look like a clown. Sometimes I mix Peony and Orchid, which gives an interesting color. There are a couple of more colors I want to try, so I am sure the right shade is still out there for me.
